- Lead and manage multiple IT projects from planning and requirement definition through delivery and operation. - Directly manage software development teams of 10+ members and projects with 30+ team members. - Manage project scope, schedule, resources, budget, risks, issues, and overall project performance. - Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues proactively, and provide timely reports to management, clients, and stakeholders. - Lead cross-functional teams including BA, Developers, Testers/QA, and other technical members. - Manage client and stakeholder expectations, requirements, changes, and project communications. - Apply appropriate Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies. - Identify opportunities, propose solutions, and drive continuous process improvements. - Work effectively with Japanese clients, understanding their communication styles, business practices, and expectations.

- Typically 5–10 years of experience in IT project management or a related field. - Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing multiple IT projects, including projects with 30+ team members. - Industry Experience: Experience in the Insurance industry or related sectors is preferred, such as Financial Services, Rescue/Assistance Services, or BPO. - Project Management Professional (PMP): Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). - Certified ScrumMaster (CSM): Or other Agile certifications, particularly if the organization adopts Agile methodologies. - ITIL Certification: Knowledge or certification in ITIL practices is an advantage. - Team Leadership: Proven experience in directly leading software development teams of 10 or more members. - Technical/Project Experience: Hands-on experience in at least one project role, such as Business Analyst (BA), Software Developer, Tester/QA Engineer, or similar. - Risk Management: Strong ability to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks. - Schedule & Resource Management: Proven ability to manage project schedules, allocateresources effectively, and optimize resource utilization. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior management, clients, and team members. - Agile & Scrum: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes, methodologies, and practices. - Japanese Client Management: Strong understanding of working practices, communication styles, and business expectations when working with Japanese clients. - Project Monitoring & Reporting: Ability to quickly identify project status, issues, and potential risks, and provide timely reports and updates to relevant stakeholders. Professional Knowledge & Management Skills - Project Management: In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and other relevant approaches. - Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT systems, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), cloud computing, cybersecurity, and other relevant technologies. - Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams, including developers, testers/QA engineers, and business analysts. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with senior management, clients, stakeholders, and project team members. - Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges, issues, and risks effectively. - Budget Management: Experience in managing project budgets, financial resources, and resource allocation. - Time Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines. - Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to manage expectations, communicate effectively, and maintain positive working relationships. - Risk Management: Proficient in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating project risks throughout the project lifecycle. - Change Management: Ability to effectively manage changes to project scope, schedule, resources, and requirements while minimizing impact on project objectives. Nice to Have - Certifications & Qualifications - Ability to identify opportunities, propose solutions, and drive process improvements. - Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English. - Experience working with Singaporean or Japanese markets/clients is a strong advantage.
