KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Trade Marketing Analytics & Business Insights • Develop analytical frameworks to evaluate Trade Marketing performance across GT, MT, CVS, and E-commerce channels. • Analyze key commercial metrics including: • Sales uplift • Distribution and Numeric Distribution • Visibility & Share of Shelf • Promotion effectiveness • ROI of trade investments • Category and channel performance • Generate actionable insights to improve trade execution and business performance. • Partner with Trade Marketing and Sales teams to identify growth opportunities and risks. 2. Trade Investment & Promotion Effectiveness • Establish measurement methodologies for trade promotion investments. • Evaluate effectiveness of: • Consumer promotions • Trade schemes • Display programs • Listing investments • Activation campaigns • Support Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives through pricing, promotion, and assortment analytics. • Recommend optimization opportunities to maximize trade spend ROI. 3. AI & Commercial Digital Transformation • Lead adoption of AI solutions within Trade Marketing and Commercial functions. • Identify use cases for: • Sales forecasting • Promotion prediction • Demand sensing • Image recognition for store execution • AI-powered reporting and insights generation • Commercial productivity automation • Collaborate with IT, Digital, and external partners to implement AI-driven tools and platforms. • Drive digital transformation initiatives across Trade Marketing operations. 4. Dashboard, Reporting & Business Intelligence • Design and standardize Trade Marketing dashboards using Power BI and other visualization tools. • Build real-time monitoring systems covering: • Sales performance • Promotion performance • Distribution performance • Execution KPIs • Market data • Automate reporting processes to reduce manual efforts and improve decision speed. • Ensure data quality, governance, and reporting consistency. 5. Cross-Functional Business Partnering • Partner with: • Trade Marketing • Sales • Marketing • Finance • Supply Chain • Digital & IT • Support annual business planning and channel strategy development. • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on data and AI-generated insights. 6. Team Leadership & Capability Building • Lead and develop a team of Business Analysts, BI Analysts, and AI Specialists. • Build analytics capabilities across Commercial and Trade Marketing teams. • Promote a culture of fact-based decision making and continuous improvement. • Coach stakeholders on data storytelling and business analytics practices.

Education • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems, Marketing, or related fields. • Master's degree is an advantage. Experience • 7–10 years of experience in Business Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Trade Marketing Analytics, Revenue Growth Management, or Business Intelligence. • Minimum 3 years of people management experience. • Strong FMCG experience is highly preferred. • Experience working with MT, GT and Modern Trade channels is a significant advantage. Technical Skills • Advanced Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Data Visualization. • Experience with: • Trade Promotion Analytics • Commercial Performance Analytics • Revenue Growth Management • Category Analytics • Forecasting Models • Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in commercial functions. • Knowledge of FMCG retail execution metrics and distribution KPIs. Leadership Competencies • Strategic thinking and business acumen. • Strong stakeholder management. • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills. • Change management and digital transformation leadership. • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
