About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Database Engineer to join a technology team responsible for the operation, improvement, and modernization of database environments. The role covers both traditional on-premises infrastructure and public cloud environments, with opportunities to work on database architecture, migration, performance optimization, and system reliability. You will collaborate with local engineering teams and overseas technical specialists to design and operate stable, secure, and high-performing database platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and continuously improve database environments to ensure availability, reliability, security, and performance. - Support database infrastructure across both on-premises and public cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of cloud-based database solutions. - Work with international database specialists on database implementation, migration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. - Manage database objects including tables, indexes, views, stored procedures, and related components. - Design, maintain, and test backup and disaster recovery procedures. - Monitor database health and performance, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions. - Support application deployment and production release activities from the database perspective. - Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade relational database platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL. - Contribute to database modernization and migration projects as the organization expands its cloud capabilities.

Requirements: - Hands-on experience with at least two database technologies, such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. - Practical experience with database migration and upgrade projects. - Experience working with databases in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments. - Good English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with overseas technical teams. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. - Systematic thinking, ownership, proactive problem-solving attitude, and ability to work effectively in a team. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience designing and operating cloud database services such as Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or equivalent platforms. - Experience with SQL development and database performance tuning, particularly MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. - Knowledge of Shell scripting, PL/SQL, Python, or database-related automation. - Exposure to ETL tools and data integration processes. - Experience participating in large-scale database migration or cloud transformation projects.
