We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and maintain the data and BI layer connecting SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. This is a hands-on, end-to-end individual contributor role, responsible for transforming raw data into trusted datasets, semantic models, and actionable dashboards. The role will also help establish data standards and best practices for a growing analytics function. Key Responsibilities: - Design and maintain Gold-layer data models in Microsoft Fabric using fact/dimension and star-schema structures. - Build and manage data transformation pipeline across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers. - Translate business requirements and logic into reusable data models, KPIs, and metrics. - Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, DAX measures, and dashboards. - Ensure data quality through validation, monitoring, testing, and issue resolution. - Establish a single source of truth by consolidating data and reporting logic into governed datasets. - Maintain data documentation, lineage, governance standards, and development best practices. - Collaborate with business teams to translate business questions into data and reporting solutions

Qualifications & Key Competencies - 3–5 years in Analytics Engineering, BI, or Data Engineering. - Strong SQL, Python, dimensional modeling, and EELT knowledge. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric / Azure data platforms and medallion architecture. - Strong Power BI & DAX skills, including semantic modeling and performance tuning. - Experience with Git, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines. - SAP S/4HANA experience is a strong plus. - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. - Fluent English and strong communication, problem-solving, ownership, and business acumen.
