Company Profile Mysteel Vietnam is a subsidiary of Shanghai Ganglian, a provider of industry-related data services and bulk commodity information, established in 2000. Shanghai Ganglian has achieved significant milestones, developing into a leading company in the data services sector. It is also the first commodity data service provider in China to be certified by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). With a comprehensive and rigorous data collection system, Mysteel’s benchmark prices operate across multiple industrial value chains under our coverage and serve as important reference indices for mining companies, manufacturers, traders, and end users in transaction settlements. In addition to domestic spot trading, Mysteel prices have been successfully integrated into international pricing systems, setting numerous precedents, and have been adopted by major global exchanges such as the Singapore Exchange (SGX), FEX Global Futures Exchange, and the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), among others. Mysteel Vietnam was established with the goal of providing steel industry data in Vietnam. Through the collection, storage, and analysis of price movements, as well as supply and demand dynamics, we provide users with reliable market data references, enabling them to make informed judgments and appropriate business decisions. Job title: Business Development Executive (Ferrous / Steel) We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to expand Mysteel Vietnam's customer base in the steel industry. The primary objective of this role is to identify potential customers, build relationships with key industry players, promote Mysteel's market intelligence products, and convert prospects into paid subscribers. The role also includes maintaining market awareness through customer interactions, preparing basic market insights, and supporting research activities when required. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Identify and approach potential customers including steel mills, traders, distributors, service centers, manufacturers, construction companies, and financial institutions. Promote Mysteel's products including: Website subscriptions Steel market reports Price data Consulting services Conferences & industry events Arrange customer meetings (online/offline). Prepare product presentations and demonstrations. Build sales pipeline and follow up opportunities. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Maintain CRM and customer database. Build and maintain relationships with Steel mills, traders & distributors, end-users (construction, manufacturing, etc.) and industry associations Content & Insight Production Track and analyze supply-demand dynamics, pricing trends, and trade flows (import/export). Build and maintain a fundamental steel market database. Support the assessment and publication of spot price benchmarks. Produce daily/weekly market updates and commentaries. Develop in-depth research reports on steel market trends and outlook. Provide actionable insights to support trading decisions, procurement strategies, market positioning

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree or above. English or Mandarin (professional proficiency) – required 1-2 years of experience in: Steel / commodities / market research OR strong fresh graduates are welcome Core Competencies Strong analytical thinking & data interpretation High interest in steel & commodity markets Ability to combine: Data, market insights, industry relationships Strong communication & stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently under pressure Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
