* Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Tech Product Owner - Lending to own the end-to-end product lifecycle of our lending portfolio. This is a hands-on technical product role where you will work embedded with engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. You will drive product strategy, write detailed technical requirements, and collaborate daily with developers, QA, and DevOps to ship high-quality lending products. * Key Responsibilities 1. Agile Product Ownership Act as Product Owner in Scrum teams, owning and prioritizing the product backlog Run sprint planning and backlog grooming meetings with engineering teams Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria in INVEST format Make prioritization decisions and unblock the team 1. Product Strategy & Roadmap • Define and own the lending product roadmap aligned with business objectives • Conduct market analysis, competitive research, and customer insights to identify opportunities • Prioritize features based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility • Break down epics into deliverable vertical slices for iterative releases 2. Technical Product Development • Lead end-to-end product development: ideation, requirements, UAT, launch, and iteration • Write detailed PRDs with technical context (API specs, data flows, system dependencies) • Work closely with backend, frontend, mobile engineers and QA on technical feasibility and trade-offs • Participate in API contract reviews and integration planning 3. Feature Ownership • Origination Digital loan applications, instant eligibility checks, e-KYC and e-signature flows • Loan Products Revolving credit lines, short-term loans, instalment loans, and buy-now-pay-later • Pricing & Limits Interest rate and fee structures, credit limit management, tenors • Repayment Flexible repayment schedules, early settlement, auto-debit, payment reminders • Collections Delinquency prevention, grace periods, dunning workflows, restructuring, write-off handling • Customer Experience Loan tracking, balances and statements, self-service on mobile app, push notifications 4. Platform Responsibility • Cake App (End-user) Own lending features on mobile app — loan application, repayment, transaction history, statements, notifications • Cake Portal (Bank Staff) Own internal tools for lending operations — approval workflows, limit adjustment, dispute handling, collections, customer support workflows • Lending Platform (Backend) Own product rules and loan lifecycle configuration across origination, loan management, and core banking integrations 5. Stakeholder Management • Partner with Risk, Credit, Compliance, Operations, Collections, Finance, Customer Service, and Business Development teams • Present product updates, performance, and roadmap to leadership and stakeholders • Manage vendor relationships (credit bureaus, e-KYC providers, payment and collections partners) 6. Analytics & Optimization • Define KPIs: approval and take rates, activation, utilization, delinquency, revenue, unit economics, NPS • Analyze portfolio performance and drive data-driven improvements • Design and run experiments (A/B tests) on pricing, limits, tenors, and collections treatments; scale what wins • Partner with Finance and Data to maintain an accurate, agreed view of product performance in the market and in the books

* Requirements 1. Mandatory • 3+ years of Product Management (Product Owner / Product Manager) experience in the banking or fintech industry. • Hands-on experience managing lending or credit products. • Deep understanding of the loan lifecycle: origination, disbursement, repayment, collections, write-off • Hands-on experience with lending products: personal loans, revolving credit/overdraft, or BNPL • Knowledge of loan economics: interest and fee structures, repayment schedules, accrual and provisioning basics • Experience with loan processing systems (loan origination, loan management system, core banking integrations) 2. Agile & Technical Skills • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum teams as Product Owner or Tech PM • Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and agile tools for backlog management • Strong understanding of APIs, REST, system integrations, and technical architecture • Ability to read and review API documentation, sequence diagrams, and technical specs • Comfortable with SQL and analytics tools for portfolio analysis and dashboarding • Experience with mobile app product development and release cycles • Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative development environments * Nice to Have • Experience with digital-first or neo-bank lending products • Knowledge of Vietnam banking regulations (SBV) on consumer lending and credit • Background in credit risk management, underwriting, collections, or product finance/accounting • Hands-on experimentation experience (A/B testing, incrementality measurement) • MBA or relevant advanced degree
